“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.” Isaiah 61:1

Our Mission

Loaves & Fishes feeds the spirit, soul, and body of those in need.

While we temporarily satisfy people’s basic needs, our true purpose is to provide them with the permanent answer to their problems: Jesus Christ. In John 6:35, Jesus declares, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty.”

Our Founders

Milo Reno founded Loaves & Fishes with his wife, Marian, in the fall of 1983 after hearing the Lord say, “Help them.” They began feeding people physically and spiritually that Christmas. Over the years, thousands of people have been touched by the ministry of Loaves & Fishes. Milo went home to be with the Lord July 3, 2016. He laid a strong foundation for the ministry and the work he began is moving solidly forward. Marian continues to be involved with the ministry, serving with her sweet spirit those who come needing prayer and encouragement in the Word.

What we do.
