Turns out our new home is actually our current home. We have been in this location since August of 1987. Over the years we expected the Lord to lead us to a new location since the cost of the building was simply out of our reach. However, recently the Lord kept prompting me to visit with our landlord about purchasing our current home.
The long and the short of it is that we reached a deal at $200,000. We closed on the property on January 15th with $100,000 down and the seller carrying a $100,000 note at 5.5%. There is no early payment penalty and the note has a 5 year term. We do expect to pay it off much sooner. As of April 1, we will have paid $15,000 off of the original mortgage, leaving a $85,000 balance.

Pray for us, please, not only to pay off the building but also for wisdom and provision for the remodeling of our building. We need to change some things to better assist the people God has called us to serve.
