Week in and week out we serve lunch to our guests who come to us for groceries.
Jesus said “I was hungry and you fed me.” When asked how, He responded, “When you did it to one of the least of these my brethern you did it unto me.”
A hot meal prepares the heart to hear God’s word.
It is very gratifying to be a servant to people in need. It is indeed an honor when a child comes to Loaves & Fishes and is hungry, and it warms your heart to be able to make a difference.
The workers in our kitchen look at serving meals at Loaves & Fishes as their ministry .. and it truly is!
