We began with two words spoken to Milo Reno in the Fall of 1983, “Help them!” God said. We responded by delivering food baskets to families in need at Christmas time that year. For four years we and faithful volunteers provided food and encouragement in a small location on East 11th Street. In 1987 we moved to our current building and expanded the outreach. Over the years Loaves & Fishes has assisted tens of thousands of families with good food, groceries and the Good News.


 "By this we perceive the love of God, because He laid down His life for us, we ought lay down our lives for the brethren. But whosoever has this world’s goods and sees his brother have a need and shuts up his compassion from him, how does the love of God dwell in him? Loaves and Fishes is a not-for-profit corporation founded in 1983. All contributions are tax deductible.

MISSION STATEMENT

To alleviate suffering of impoverished families by offering charitable assistance and The Good News at home and abroad while demonstrating the unconditional mercy of Jesus Christ.

GOALS

• Open additional outlets to challenge poverty in Oklahoma.
• Locate and purchase a new and larger building for Loaves & Fishes.
• Increase support to missionairies who are reaching the impoverished world wide.
